Dr. Sheena Sullivan is a nonprofit expert who works with small nonprofit leaders to build sustainable organizations through leadership development and strategic innovation.
Sheena believes that passion and natural leadership abilities alone are not enough to create thriving, long-lasting nonprofits; a commitment to learning and development is key.
In her 15+ years in the sector, Sheena has founded, led, and consulted with several organizations, including The Short Years Partnership, Coal Creek Meals on Wheels, and the Southwest Suburban Immigrant Project, garnering a track record of success in increasing revenue and community outreach.
Sheena holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and Leadership, bringing academic rigor and practical insight to her work. She also has a Master’s in Social Work, specializing in Leadership and Development in the Social Services, and a Post-master’s Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy, both from Loyola University Chicago.
